A Child's Prayer
I just have to write a parent moment before I forget, these days we will be lucky if I remember what I am writing all the way to the end. My Isaac (who is 5) says the cutest prayers. Yesterday in primary he said, "bless these people not to miss us so much when we move and I will miss them and I just wanted to say this prayer so that I could say goodbye..." This morning he offered to say my morning prayer for me. After blessing that I would be a good mom he said, "bless that all our family will be safe where ever we are, even if there isn't a fence and it is on a high mountain. And bless we will have long ropes so that we can get down the hill safe and sound...." He is so cute!

Ohh that is so cute! I love it! Anthonie is 5 now and we are always amazed at his parayers. Sometimes we are holding our breath so that we don't crack up. What a beautiful post! So happy that things are going so well! Have a wonderful week! ~ Mare

I would love to have that child innocence and trust back just for a couple minutes. So sweet!

I am so happy you have a blog and I found it! I was just thinking about you and your family when I was home the other weekend. It's very weird not seeing you and your amazing family at church! I wanted to tell you that I miss your sunday school lessons too! You were an amazing teacher! Thanks for everything!

he must have been reading the thoughts of all of us. We are going to miss the neighborhood of boys.
And good to know that you are blessed to be safe on that "high mountain"! LOL
are you sure you can't rethink your decision to move away? ;-)
Oftentimes your blog is my happy place, and thinking about your boys makes the worst day 100 x's better. Thanks for sharing life with me.
kids prayers are the best. andres are definitely the most entertaining in our family. love love love them.
thanks for all your nice comments, thoughts, and prayers. thank kyle for confirming that it is indeed a political speech that miles is practicing for. i would be honored for miles just to be one of his constituents one day. :)
I love to listen to children pray. I think my prayers need to be more child-like. The other thing about kids and prayer is that they always want to say it....sometimes even fighting over who gets to say the prayer. On the flip side, take a group of adults and it is like pulling teeth to get someone to volunteer to say the prayer.
