Where's Heather?

Usually I am writing a blog post in my head at all times. For the last month that just hasn't been happening and I have been trying to figure out why. Last night I think I found the answers...First off, I have been crazy busy. Quick re-cap: moved into new house, had lots of friends visit new home, went camping, finished up school year, etc. Second, lots of things have thrown me "off". Quick re-cap: everyone got the flu (including me), I broke my toe (yes again), and I got into a car accident (no worries we are fine). I also have been helping (but let's face it mostly watching) my husband put in out yard. If you know my husband you know the energizer bunny has got nothing on him. He works like crazy and whistles the whole time. Quick re-cap: put in sprinkling system, planted grass, built sandbox, planted garden, built flower boxes and planted them, planted 12 trees and built the mother of all chicken coops. I also have been arguing with myself about whether or not I plan to remain in the blogging world. So with that out there how about some comments on why you blog or don't and why you think I should keep at it or not...

ok... for starters... how in the world are we supposed to keep up with you guys? I/we never get to see you anymore... not even driving past. Life gets in the way for all of us and this is the only way i feel connected to you guys when hanging out is not exactly fitting into schedules.

We will be getting together but nothing beats the regular updates... KEEP BLOGGING HEATHER!

First off, it has been a very long time since I have seen you, and I'm so excited to be coming home so that I can come and visit (probably on Tuesday I'll make the long drive).

Second, I NEED YOU. You guys are among the precious few that I know that I NEED to make it through life, and since neither one of us believes in the telephone your blog is one of the few ways that I have of feeling like I still belong. I would appreciate it if you kept blogging so that I can continue to feel like part of the family.

Finally, I blog because I have lots of ideas that I want to share, and I think it's good for me to write down the things that I think about.

Don't quit. While I don't really need it to keep up with you, it gives me something to do. None of my friends/fam are very regular on their blogs. I get bored.

I like blogging because it helps me keep in touch with friends and family. But if you aren't enjoying blogging and you don't read other blogs, then maybe you can take a break or something. I love reading your blog and learning more about you and your family. You are a good writer and your passion for your family shows in every post.

PLEASE don't give up on the blog! It seriously makes my day when I see a new post or new pictures! I love seeing your boys and how they're growing and how you raise them!

Well...since you have moved I have seen you once and that was at the ball game for like 3 minutes. And since you don't believe in picking up the phone and calling me and I don't have long distance or cell phone service to call you, I look at your blog to keep up with you. I look forward to hearing your encouraging words and I love looking at pictures of you and the family. DON'T STOP!! Love ya

i definitely think you should blog because it is really cool for friends--who love you and feel close to you but really never get to talk to you or spend any time with you--keep up with your life.

and the biggest reason is because blurb.com works for making blog books again and it is just so awesome to have your blog printed into a book because then your crazy thoughts are saved forever right along with the photos so there is no guilt involved--you are journaling and scrapbooking (with the photos) at the same time as sharing with your friends.!
